It's been a long delay due to my busy life after just moving into college, but I finally have episode 018 up for download! A lot of the actual news in it is kinda old however, because the episode was recorded about 2 weeks ago. I promise that episodes will start to be more frequent, and as well be uploaded faster.

Update: There is a part where Zan's sister interrupts us that I forgot to edit out. Just to note, even though he sounds extremely angry and a bunch of hitting and such, he's really just joking, it's all standard stuff, and all the noise was Zan's door banging against the wall/DVD shelf which always happens.

W-u T-u F-u is all I can think of when I think about this episode... It seemed like it was going to be a great episode at first, then problems happened. There was some technical difficulties with audio volume levels due to Skype which were unfixable, though not too bad. We have a guest call in by Lynx, and discuss topics... from about a week ago. It took a long time to get the episode online and I promise to not only get our next episode online quickly, but to also return to our roots. I had a long talk after the podcast with the members and I think our podcasts have been getting too off track from what everyone loved about us in the beginning. It's not a bad episode by all means, but I promise the next one will be better.

Following Revolution Podcast Episode 009

Wow was it a rough time to make this episode. First of all there was an extreme delay to myself moving, my car going in the shop, and Zan losing driving privelages tempoarily. You would think that would be enough, but oh no, the worst was yet to come. We were limited to a strict one hour or less show due to the limited amount of time I had to be away from my house and preparing on leaving for spring break. About halfway throught the podcast my laptop froze and we completely lost a half hour of recording. When's the last time a computer froze!?!? Not even a BSOD, but flat out freezing out of no where! We were forced to re-record what we had much faster, seeing our podcast now was limited to about 25 minutes. Even though it's so short, do not worry as it is still enjoyable and filled with content! I promise Episode 10 will be huge, and we'll try out some new stuff and also record a nice long episode.

I finally went out and bought a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone, which I have seen to be reccomended for podcasters. It's great having it USB with no required drivers. In this episode of Following Revolution, Schiz0id (Zan) and I (ElChibo, Mark) take a look back on the Christmas vacation and the New Year. With start off with some new ideas, trying to revamp our podcast to a bit of a fresher stlye. Siggy (Henry) was absent for the show, but we were forced to make it anyway because we havn't had a podcast for a couple weeks. We have a couple of reviews, some game of the year awards, and interesting rants and debates coming out of no where. We go back to a completely unscripted style as we did more in episode 01. We seriously had no idea what we were doing, as I didn't even know what review I was doing when asked which! Podcast challenge I made on the fly, and the review was also made up on the go. I tried experimenting with some new aspects of the show such as the opening theme. You'll notice a different music playing than the regular Super Mario 3 music at the beginning, and that is part of a new thing were doing. Every episode, a different classic gaming song will play as the opening song, and you guys have to post in comments on the blog as what game it is from, and what in the game it is. Get it right, and we'll give a shoutout to you on the podcast. Get it completely terribly wrong, and we'll probably make fun of you, haha. I also worked with some extra sound bites. Not sure how they work, so tell us what you think. Come on everyone, it's A NEW HOPE!
